"郁金香奖"创建于6年前，是荷兰外交部颁发的一个奖项，主要鼓励和支持以创新的方式的捍卫人权的勇敢人士。获奖的个人或机构可以获得约为10万欧元的奖金，并用于后续艾滋病领域的相关倡导工作。具体详见http://www.humanrightstulip.nl/
经过层层筛选，中国艾滋病病毒携带者联盟秘书处协调员孟林已从160名世界各地的申请者中脱颖而出，进入前30名候选名单。下面，该奖项将进入关键的网络公开投票环节，希望得到各界朋友支持，踊跃投票。评审方将把网上投票选出的三个候选人以及三个来自组织的"外卡"的候选人，提交给荷兰外交部长来确定最终的获奖者。

附：孟林个人介绍
自从96年确诊感染了艾滋病毒并发病以来，可以说亲身经历和见证了艾滋病在中国横行肆虐的这场灾难。多年来，凭着对生命的景仰和执著，历尽艰辛顽强抗争，幸存到今天。
2004年下半年开始筹建爱之方舟感染者信息支持组织，旨在帮助中国艾滋病感染者和患者获取更多更高效的免费抗病毒药物，以及高质量的治疗服务，增强艾滋病感染者生活的信心，最终帮助所有艾滋病感染者和患者能够健康快乐的生活。
2006年11月4日至7日，由爱之方舟感染者信息支持组织与笑看未来艺术作坊、红树林支持组织联合举办了促进PLWHA网络化建设工作会议，并在会议上成立中国艾滋病病毒携带者联盟。爱之方舟被选为联盟秘书处，孟林被选为秘书长，供职至今。

Vote for China People Living with HIV!
Meng Lin, a people living with HIV from China, has been nominated by China Alliance of People living with HIV (CAP+) for Netherlands Human Rights Tulip 2014, for his outstanding contribution for AIDS response in China.
Netherlands Human Rights Tulip is an award of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs for courageous human rights defenders who promote and support human rights in innovative ways. More information about this award could be found on http://www.humanrightstulip.nl/
Currently, Meng Lin has been selected into the top-30 candidates among almost 160 organizations and individuals applicants from different countries, and his nomination will be placed online for public voting from Monday 29th September at 12:00 (GMT+1) to 10th October.
This is an exciting news for CAP+. Meng Lin, as the CAP+ secretariat coordinator, is an important figure in Chinese civil society. He has shown much dedication to work to strengthen the participation of PLHIV in China's HIV response, and has made significant personal contributions to his work.

Meng Lin is the first person living with HIV/AIDS in China who was awarded "Barry & Martin's Prize." By UK's Barry & Martin's Trust and "UNAIDS Special Award for Contributions to AIDS Prevention." By Dr. Peter Piot, the Executive Director of UNAIDS for his contribution
Since he was diagnosed HIV positive in 1996, he has personally experienced and borne witness to the havoc which AIDS has wrought in China which made him more responsible to work for PLHIV community. As the founder "the Ark of Love", a Beijing-based informational support network for people suffering from HIV/AIDS and the director of CAP+ secretariat, he was elected as the PLWA/T/M Sector CCM members in the 20th Plenary of China and also the current NGO Working Committee Representative because of his outstanding performance in HIV/AIDS response.
