Call for Strategic Information & Research

Have you or your organization conducted research, collected data, or published evidence based information on the human rights or health of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex communities in Asia and the Pacific?

Inform the Dialogue and Share your research with us!

Building on the increased momentum and awareness raised on the conditions that LGBT and intersex people face in Asia-Pacific, UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP)United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), will co-convene a regional dialogue to provide an opportunity to hear about individual lived experiences, the work of LGBT organizations, and the successes that have been achieved.

We would like to leverage and highlight the invaluable research and strategic information that organizations in the Asia-Pacific have carried out to inform discussions at the regional dialogue. Help us to advance the understanding of the barriers and opportunities faced by LGBT and intersex communities in this region!

Kindly submit your publication/study to aprc.lgbt@undp.org by 4 April 2014.

Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of LGBT experts and leaders from the region through a process that is fair, anonymous, and transparent.
