Our office will organize the 2nd Subregional Forum for Youth Participation in Policy -Making for East and North-East Asia
on 22-25 Aug 2012 in Ningbo, China.

Application procedures and requirements are different from the ones we had in 2011.

Call for Application - Deadline 25 May 2012
The 2nd Subregional Forum for Youth Participation in Policy-Making for East and North-East Asia

Dates: 22-25 August 2012

Venue: Ningbo, China

Purpose:
- Sharing experiences and reviewing good practice of existing collaboration between youth organizations and policy-making bodies.  
- Identifying ways to channel youths' perspectives to policy-making by bringing policy makers and representatives of youth organizations together and discuss strategies for effective collaboration.

We are looking for:
Up to 40 youths (26 years old or younger) representing youth organizations in the 6 member States of East and North-East Asia (China, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Japan, Mongolia, Republic of Korea and Russian Federation). Please see the attached documents for Application Procedure.

UN ESCAP Subregional Office for East and North-East Asia (ESCAP SRO-ENEA) was established in May 2010 in Incheon, Republic of Korea, as a Subregional Office of United Nations ESCAP (headquarters in Bangkok, Thailand) to strengthen development work of the United Nations. SRO-ENEA consists of 6 member States of the East and North-East Asian subregion, and its programme of work addresses social, economic and environmental issues which are particularly relevant to the subregion.
