Attached, please find information regarding the PILnet China Pro Bono Clearinghouse. PILnet, the Global Network of Public Interest Lawyers, is an international nonprofit organization that works to advance public interest law around the world by supporting organizations, programs and individuals involved in delivering justice and protecting human rights. One key aspect of our programming is PILnet’s international and China-based pro bono clearinghouses, which match NGOs with legal needs to pro bono lawyers both in China and around the world, leveraging private sector resources for the public good.

 

If you are part of an NGO that has legal needs (or know of one that does), including questions about registration or tax, research into a particular field of law, and so on, PILnet’s clearinghouse may be able to connect your organization to pro bono lawyers who have relevant skills and expertise to help. For more details, please refer to the informational brochure attached and feel free to get in touch through the contacts listed.
